Got Rules? – Time to Vote!!!

I sent out an appeal for help identifying rules that need to be improved last week; the response has been FANTASTIC!  My initial appeal was to e-mail lists on the East Coast. This is all part of my normal Trustee summer tasking – listen to the riders and officials; identify what needs to be changed; work with the USCF Trustees to form the draft rule changes for our fall meeting. You can be part of the process. Send me the rules that YOU think should be changed and I’ll include them in my submittal to the Rules Committee. We need YOUR help to improve the rules of racing.

And don’t forget to VOTE in the Trustee Election. If you have voted, thanks for being part of the process. If you haven’t voted, this would be a great time to log onto www.usacycling.org click on My_USA_Cycling and vote. You may want to prepare for the election by reading the formal candidate statements at http://tiny.cc/1k5uE.

My goal is to continue to represent you; I can’t represent you if you don’t vote. I’d appreciate you considering voting for me to continue serving your needs.

As always, your questions are welcome (jim@jimpatton.net).
